Smoking is a very bad habit. A lot of people have realized that and they are able to stop smoking. Do you want to end this bad habit of yours, too? In addition, you will have plenty of energy to do other activities like playing sports, and playing with your children.

Enroll to a Stop Smoking Program - The program should have a good reputation on changing the lives of many people. Once you are enrolled to the program, stick to it. Don't pass any session. You have to stay committed or else nothing will happen to you.

Be active - Best way to be active is by exercising every morning as soon as the sun rises. You can jog around the neighborhood, you can do long walks, or you can go biking.

When you go out, go to areas where they don't allow people to smoke. If your hand misses holding a cigarette, holding other things like pens or bottles will be a big help.

When it is your mouth which misses the cigarette, try chewing a gum or eating candies and lollipops. Most importantly, refrain yourself from drinking alcohol as this might make you miss smoking.

Steer clear from the temptations - Instead of smoking after every meal, go to the bathroom and brush your teeth, and then do something else like watching or reading.

When you are used to smoke while you are driving, you should now listen to calm music instead. Travel to a place you haven't gone before, and try driving to different roads. It will also be good if you try to take public transportation like a bus or a train.

Stop doing the activities that you usually combine with smoking, like drinking before you eat your dinner or sitting down on your favorite couch while watching your favorite TV series.

Communicate and go out with relatives or friends who don't like the smell of the cigarette. Have a conversation with them, play some games or watch a movie with them.
